Maruti Victoris Sales Milestone

India’s leading car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki, launched the Victoris SUV in the country last year. It is the flagship vehicle for the Arena dealership, but has significantly more features and equipment than its Nexa counterpart, Grand Vitara. Even though it is for Arena dealerships, it is currently Maruti Suzuki’s halo product to Indian car buyers.

Owing to these ethos, Victoris has received good response from Indian buyers which is reflected in the sales achievement. Maruti Suzuki has managed to sell 1 lakh units of Victoris in the country already within a time span of just 9 months averaging around 12,500 units per month.

Within a span of 9 months from launch, Maruti Suzuki Victoris has achieved the coveted 1 lakh units sales milestone. While that is in and of itself, a headline stat, what is more notable is the fact that Victoris is Maruti Suzuki’s only in-house production (manufactured at Kharkhoda plant) C Segment mid-size SUV right now and it has emerged as the segment’s 2nd best-seller.

If we look at the numbers, Maruti Suzuki Victoris is only second to Hyundai Creta which clocked 1,51,963 units between September 2025 and May 2026 averaging 16,885 units per month. In the same time period, Victoris deliveries commenced and this SUV has managed to clock 1,00,144 units, averaging 11,127 units per month.
