Toyota Dec 2025 Sales Grows 37% – Records Highest Ever Yearly Sales

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) wrapped up December 2025 and the full calendar year on a strong and historic note, registering its highest-ever annual sales in India. The company reported total sales of 3,88,801 units in CY 2025, marking a 19% growth over 3,26,329 units sold in CY 2024, underlining consistent demand across both domestic and export markets.

December 2025 played a key role in sustaining this momentum. Toyota India recorded total sales of 39,333 units in December, up by 33.2% year-on-year compared to 29,529 units in December 2024. Domestic sales stood at 34,157 units, registering a healthy 37.25% growth, while exports rose to 5,176 units, up 11.5% YoY, reinforcing India’s growing importance as an export hub for Toyota.

On a full-year basis, domestic volumes grew steadily to 3,51,580 units in CY 2025, a 17.13% increase over 3,00,159 units sold in CY 2024. Exports witnessed even sharper growth, rising 42.23% to 37,221 units, compared to 26,170 units last year. This balanced growth across markets reflects Toyota’s focus on supply stability, product acceptance and network expansion.

Commenting on the sustained performance, Mr. Varinder Wadhwa, Vice-President, Sales-Service-Used Car Business and Profit Enhancement, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said that 2025 has been a meaningful year for Toyota, marked by stronger customer acceptance across products and services in both domestic and export markets. He attributed the growth to progressive GST reforms, strategic product enhancements, introduction of new variants, and increased brand engagement, particularly among younger buyers through innovative activations and campaigns.

He further highlighted Toyota’s efforts to strengthen its dealer network across rural and urban markets, thanking customers for their continued trust and dealer partners for their unwavering support. Looking ahead, Mr. Wadhwa reiterated Toyota’s commitment to decarbonization through its multipathway approach, offering a range of technologies suited to diverse customer needs and real-world usage conditions.
