Hero Passion+ Disc Variant Launch Price Rs 84k – Gets Full Digital Cluster

Hero MotoCorp has just unveiled a new variant of their popular Passion lineup. Called Passion+ Disc, this new variant is touted as a stylish and feature rich option for the young motorcycle buyers and first adult time motorcycle buyers. It is said to be delivering an ideal blend of performance, convenience and fuel economy.

In terms of pricing, Hero Passion+ Disc variant has been priced at Rs 84,128 (Ex-sh, Delhi) and it is expected to expand the already vast 100cc commuter portfolio by the brand. The just launched Passion+ Disc variant is offered in four dual-tone attractive colours – Heavy Grey, Dark Industrial grey, Nexus Blue and Pearl Red.

As the name suggests, the main update comes in the form of a new disc brake setup offered on front wheels. This will bring enhanced braking capabilities with Passion+ commuter motorcycle offering a better sense of security to commuters, when compared to the braking performance seen with drum brake setup.

Apart from the new disc brake setup at the front, Hero MotoCorp has updated Passion+ Disc variant’s instrument cluster. It now gets a fully digital instrument cluster with advanced features like real time mileage indicator, Bluetooth connectivity, service reminder, low fuel indicator, trip computers, speedo and odo readouts.

The Bluetooth suite is quite basic and does not offer advanced features like navigation or music controls. However, features like call alerts and SMS alerts are offered. Other notable features include first-in-segment LED projector headlights and side stand indicator with engine cut-off feature, among others.

The bike is powered by a 100cc single-cylinder air cooled engine that is capable of generating around 8 bhp of peak power and 8 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 4-speed gearbox. This engine also gets i3S engine stop start system to increase fuel efficiency, which is rated at 71 km/l.
