'Beautiful' Marks and Spencer £35 jumper is perfect choice for colder months

Every year many of us pull out our favourite Christmas jumper or splurge on something new for the festive season, but it can be frustrating to buy something that you can only wear for a few days each year. Several shoppers are obsessed with a new cosy jumper at Marks and Spencer, which has some festive flair but is subtle enough that it can be worn throughout all the colder months.

Instead of reindeer, santa faces and Christmas trees, this jumper utilises bobble detailing and a simple pattern to give it a touch of seasonal charm. The fair isle crew neck jumper costs £35 and is available in sizes extra small to extra large.

More than 75 customers have already left reviews on the garment, giving it a rating of 4.7 out of five-stars. The jumper can be dressed down with jeans for a relaxed day at home or dressed up with trousers for an office look or over a skirt for an evening out.

One customer stated: "Beautiful soft jumper but much thicker than I expected it to be. Need some much colder weather for this one. Love the colourway, it's really subtle and sophisticated. M&S have some wonderful stuff recently, my wallet is crying hehe."

A second wrote: "Good quality, nice and thick. Bought the red it looks fab with leather look mini skirt, black tights and boots." Another customer added: "Bright chunky fair isle jumper easy to wear keeps you warm and comfortable."

Although not everyone was thrilled with the jumper. One shopper shared: "Nice pattern but the style is too short and bulky on me.." Another stated: "This looked lovely but was too thick and bulky and short. It felt like it had been shrunk in the wash so returned it."

The garment has a funky twist on a classic style, but has kept it cosy with a funnel neck. The jumper would look great with cord trousers or skirts, and has a boho feel thanks to its fluted sleeves.

Or another alternative is the tinsel star jumper available in red and silver or black and gold at Matalan. This item has a festive feel but stars are not just for Christmas time, so it can be proudly worn whenever the weather gets chilly.

The jumper costs £30 and is available in sizes small to extra extra large. One shopper said: "Very good quality and fit. Would definitely buy again."
