Alison Hammond is blissfully in a relationship with her boyfriend David Putnam, even declaring that the model and masseur "worships me". The 49-year-old Great British Bake Off host disclosed his daily gesture of affection towards her.

In April, she made her romance with 27-year-old David public, having initially met him during a massage therapy session she booked. However, she later admitted that they had kept their relationship under wraps for a year and a half - until her This Morning co-host Dermot O'Leary inadvertently announced on the programme that she was "no longer available".

She later shared with The Sun a heartfelt routine he carries out for her every day. She exclaimed: "A year and a half I've been with him, and no one knew! He loves me to bits. He absolutely worships me and massages my feet every single day. What more do you want? ! ".

In a conversation with MailOnline, Alison teased the possibility of getting engaged: "There is someone special, and if he wants to pop the question, he can pop away.", reports Birmingham Live.

Speculation about an engagement was fuelled when she was seen wearing a ring on her wedding finger on This Morning, but she subsequently clarified that she was not engaged.

She also shared on the Parenting Hell podcast that her son Aiden has met David, saying: "The person I am seeing at the moment, [Aiden is] on his Instagram and he's like, 'Yeah, I like him. He's not too in your face.' Aiden's on it."

"When they met, he really liked him and thought he was lovely. And thank goodness for that! Normally, Aiden hates anyone I date."

Last year, Alison confessed she was ready for a more settled life. In a conversation with Gyles Brandreth on his Rosebud podcast, she revealed: "I think as soon as I hear the word marriage I get cold feet. I think I'm just one of those people."

'I always - not think there's something better - but I always get a bit nervous to know that is it. 'I just feel like I'm tied down and I don't like it, when really and truly, I'm getting to that age now where I think "Alison, let go - it's OK to settle down."
