These days there are not many residential areas you can go to in the UK where you aren't going to spot a good handful of video doorbells. Amazon's Ring doorbells are one of the more popular choices, with options for wired or battery-powered doorbells, but the brand also has a whole range of home security products.

Such as indoor cameras, outdoor security cameras and floodlight cameras. One of the reasons this brand is so popular is because it can be easily paired with other Amazon products, such as the various Alexa devices.

As part of the Prime Big Deal Days, which will last until Wednesday, October 9, you can get your hands on a new Ring battery video doorbell and a second-generation indoor camera for under £65. The duo usually costs £149.98, but it has been discounted by 57 per cent to £64.99.

You can choose to have the video doorbell in either the satin nickel or the Venetian bronze designs. This is a great deal, especially for people who have just moved homes or are looking to upgrade their home security as this Ring doorbell is the new and improved model.

One shopper who purchased the bundle stated: "Love the new ring. Would highly recommend. The battery life is great." Whilst another warned: "The picture quality isn’t as good as other models of ring doorbell that I’ve installed."

One of the big things that comes with having a Ring doorbell is the Ring Protect Plan, which is a monthly fee for additional features, should as to be able to record and save video up to 180 days. Although you can use the doorbell without a subscription you will only be able to view real time footage and answer notifications.

A recent review states: "What makes this a poor buy and 2 Stars is the annual fees for the Ring Protect Plan. These fees have more than doubled in a couple of years, yet there are no improvements to service or quality of videos etc." Amazon also have its new video doorbell camera on available on its own for £99, or the currently discounted price of £59.99 at 40 per cent off.

However, with a deal like that, it would definitely make sense to splurge the extra £5 to get the indoor camera as well. Or if you would rather not have an indoor camera, there is also a duo deal for the same video doorbell but with a Ring Chime instead.

This bundle would usually cost £128.98, but it is on a limited-time deal for £64.99 until 8.55pm on October 14. It may also be a good idea to have a look at some of the other video doorbells available, such as this Blink video doorbell at Argos.

This product usually costs £69.99 but is currently half-price at £34.99. You can also get your hands on a TP-Link Tap video doorbell and chime at Currys for £59.99, which is also compatible with Amazon's Alexa devices as well as Google Home products.
