Social media sensation GK Barry is set to captivate a new fanbase as she ventures into the jungle on this year's I'm A Celebrity.

Grace, despite her initial fears upon entering the jungle, has won over viewers with her humour and bravery in the Bushtucker trials.

This week, audiences were treated to a heartwarming exchange between Grace and her campmate, Reverend Richard Coles, signalling the start of an unexpected friendship.

Body language expert Inball Hongiman has now shared his insights, suggesting the connection between them is authentic and not just for show.

Representing Slingo, he remarked: "GK Barry and Rev Richard Coles are truly enjoying getting to know each other in the jungle, and are not just playing up their friendship for the cameras, their body language says.", reports OK!.

He observed that Grace's body language, particularly how she crosses her leg towards the Reverend, indicates her ease and authenticity around him.

Hongiman further noted that their mirrored body language demonstrates their strong relationship.

Elaborating, he said: "At the same time, he's leaning towards her, letting her know that he's happy being close to her. There's no judgment between the two campmates. When they laugh together, it's the same laugh as each other.

"Both Grace and Richard are pulling their necks back in an open-mouth, double-chin, hearty, belly laugh which is entirely genuine and can't be faked. A belly laugh shows that their defences are down, and isn't often shared between strangers.

"Even though GK Barry is the youngest contestant, and Rev Coles is one of the most mature, their burgeoning friendship is real and true.

"Neither of them is playing the fame game, they're both there to have an interesting experience, meaning their expectations are aligned with one another and they can communicate openly as if there are no cameras."

Grace made her entrance into the jungle on the first day along with the other nine celebrities, all vying for the position of initial camp leaders.

The social media star was chosen by a fellow Loose Women star for the challenge, but they were ultimately defeated by Tulisa Contostavlos and Alan Halsall.

In contrast, Reverend Richard joined the show later, entering alongside Maura Higgins as they took up residence in the jungle junkyard.

Their task involved pretending that the junkyard was a dreadful experience, when in fact they were indulging in luxuries such as a double bed, a mini fridge and a cooker.

I'm A Celebrity continues tonight at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX followed by I'm A Celebrity: Unpacked after the main show on ITV2.
