Parents are raving about this 'massive' Barbie dreamhouse which is the ultimate toy for Barbie fans. This updated version of the iconic doll house inspired 360-degree play and endless fun thanks to its open design and multiple features.
The toy is a three storey house with 10 different play areas, including a pool, slide, elevator, a toy puppy and 75 doll accessories. It does require some adult assembly as once complete it is over 110cm tall. The Barbie dreamhouse could be the perfect Christmas gift and usually costs £349.99, but Amazon has the toy in its Black Friday sale.
For a limited time the toy can be purchased for £129.99 which is 63 per cent off. There are almost 4,000 reviews of this dreamhouse on Amazon, with shoppers giving the product an average rating of 4.5 out of five-stars.
One impressed customer shared: "So firstly, obviously this is MASSIVE, I looked at the dimensions before buying but even then I didn't imagine it would be so big! Even the box it came in didn't fit in the cupboard I was hiding presents in!
"But anyway, it really is awesome. It was the typical, daughter wanted THIS specifically, didn't want a cheaper alternative, and I was very wary about spending so much. However, so glad I did as its been the biggest hit this Christmas!"
Another wrote: "Bought this for my 3 year old daughter’s birthday present. She loves it and hopefully will play with it for years to come. I did measure it but it appears bigger once built.
"Because the little one likes going around the whole house, I had to move a few things around in her playroom to accommodate. It is now very much a focus point when you come into the room - so you have to like pink!"
A third added: "It's much bigger than I expected but it was extremely easy to build my daughter's 5 and she absolutely loves it she hasn't stopped playing with it very happy!"
However, some customers have warned that the slide does not stay in place and that some pieces have been missing. One wrote: "I bought this for my grand daughter for Christmas and the slide keep coming off."
A second warned: "My daughter enjoys playing with it but I had to glue the slide as it wouldn't clip in." Whilst another added: "The slide will not stay together it is very flimsy the clips are terrible. Children can’t put a babie on it without it falling apart. Very disappointing for $300."
Although this is a great deal, it is still a pricey toy so we have also found some cheaper doll house alternatives. Usually priced at £100, Argos has reduced its Jupiter Workshops Malibu Mansion Dolls House to £80 in its sale.
This dollhouse is also huge and spans across four floors with three balconies, a jacuzzi, a water slide and swimming pool. Or if you are looking for something a little smaller Asda has a wooden light up dolls house for £55.
The supermarket currently has an offer on selected toys, including this one, where if you spend £25 you can get 20 per cent off. All you have to do is add the toy to your basket and it should automatically take £11 off, reducing it to £44.
