PAL resumes Manila-Riyadh flights on April 10, with Bangkok refueling stop
· philstarMANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Airlines said it would resume its flights between Manila and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia on April 10, with the new route now having a stop in Bangkok for refueling, due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
PAL, in an announcement on Wednesday, April 8, said passengers will not need to deplane during the brief "technical" stop in the Thai capital before the flight continues to Riyadh.
"The safety and well-being of our passengers and crew remain our foremost priority," the airline said.
PAL intends to restore normal routing and full capacity "as conditions allow," the announcement read.
The airline urged passengers to confirm their bookings before heading to the airport and to check updated schedules on its website or through its hotlines.
