Kia Syros compact SUV will be packed with modern features and it will be powered by multiple engine options

Kia India recently confirmed the name of its upcoming compact SUV – officially christened the “Syros.” Following months of speculation, this five-seater SUV is set to be unveiled soon. Positioned between the Seltos midsize SUV and the Sonet compact SUV, the Syros is expected to bridge the gap with a fresh, distinctive option in Kia’s lineup.

The Kia Syros is designed with larger dimensions than the Sonet, offering enhanced practicality and space. Promising an “industry-first” suite of connected features, the initial teaser hints at an upright front end with triple-beam vertical LED projector headlights, complemented by slim vertical LED Daytime Running Lights.

The Kia Syros sports the corporate badge prominently on the edge of the bonnet, highlighting its attention to design detail. The SUV will feature tall pillars and a nearly flat roofline, maximizing cabin space and creating a spacious greenhouse effect. Practicality will be further enhanced with a sizable boot and roomy interior. Likely engine options include a 1.0L three-cyl turbocharged petrol, a 1.2L NA petrol, and a 1.5L diesel.
