5 Highly Anticipated New Cars Launching Soon In India

As we are approaching the year 2025, car manufacturers are planning to launch new products in the Indian market. While the EVs are the talk of the town, new conventionally powered models are also on the cards. In this article, we will look at the brand-new cars launching soon in India.
1. New-Gen Honda Amaze
Honda Cars India will launch the new-gen Amaze in the Indian market on December 4. The latest spy shots have already revealed the sedan in full flesh. It will be underpinned by a modified version of the platform that underpins the City and Elevate SUV. In terms of design, the new Amaze has an entirely new front fascia along with updated alloy wheels and a revised rear profile. Inside the cabin, a new dashboard layout inspired by the Elevate SUV is a part of the package. The existing 1.2-litre i-VTEC engine putting out 90 bhp and 110 Nm of peak torque will be retained for the new Amaze.
2. Kia Syros
Scheduled for an official unveiling on December 19, the Syros will be positioned above the Sonet in the brand’s line-up. The latest teaser shared by Kia confirms that the new compact SUV will come with a panoramic sunroof. It will sport an upright stance with a boxy design language, vertically stacked LED DRLs upfront, a large window line and flush-fitting door handles. The upcoming Kia Syros will get both an ICE and electric powertrain, paired with a front-wheel-drive setup. In terms of features, it is expected to get ADAS, ventilated seats and a 360-degree parking camera.

3. Hyundai Creta EV
Hyundai is all set to launch the Creta EV in the Indian market early next year at the 2025 Auto Expo. The electric Creta will come with a 45 kWh battery pack with a power output rated at 138 bhp and 255 Nm peak torque. It will be a front-wheel-drive setup shared with the latest generation Kona EV sold in the international markets. Spied testing multiple times on Indian roads, the electric Creta will share the design with the latest facelift model, albeit with EV-specific touches like a blanked-off front grille, EV badging inside out and aero-efficient alloy wheels.
4. Maruti Suzuki e Vitara
The Suzuki e Vitara recently made its global debut and it will be officially unveiled in India at the 2025 Auto Expo. Maruti Suzuki’s first electric car in the country will be manufactured at Suzuki’s Gujarat-based facility. The EV will measure 4,275 mm long with a wheelbase of 2,700 mm. Internally codenamed YY8, the e Vitara is based on an all-new born-electric skateboard platform, the Heartect-e (codename: 40PL). There will be two battery packs on offer, i.e. a 49kWh and a 61kWh unit with power output ranging up to 184 bhp and 300 Nm of peak torque for the AWD variant.

5. Tata Harrier EV
After the launch of the Curvv EV, Tata Motors will add another new electric SUV to its line-up. The electric version of the Harrier has been in the development phase for a long time now and we will see the final production version early next year. The Harrier EV will be based on the heavily modified electric-specific version of the current OMEGA-Arc platform. The SUV is expected to sport a battery pack of 60 kWh, delivering a claimed range of around 500 kilometres. In terms of design, it will be quite familiar to the current Harrier, however, will have some electric-specific elements inside out. It will also get a dual-motor AWD setup as an option.
