Mahindra’s new born-electric range is set to debut next year with the XUV.e8, the all-electric version of the XUV700

Mahindra & Mahindra has been developing its new range of born-electric vehicles for a long time now and we will soon see them rolling on the roads. The Indian SUV maker is set to debut two new ground-up electric SUVs next year and one of these will be the all-electric version of the XUV700.

Until now, the XUV400 EV is the only electric car in the brand’s line-up which goes up against the likes of the segment leader Tata Nexon EV. Let’s look at the 2 upcoming Mahindra electric SUVs next year.

1&2. Mahindra XUV.e8 & XUV.e9

3. Mahindra BE.05

Mahindra will launch the second born-electric SUV next year and it will be the first model from the brand’s BE range of EVs. Measuring 4,370 mm long with a wheelbase of 2,775 mm, the BE.05 will rival the likes of the Tata Curvv EV, the upcoming Maruti Suzuki eVX and the Hyundai Creta EV. As per the latest media reports, the production of the electric SUV is set to start later this year with the launch scheduled for January 2025. The BE.05 will be based on the brand’s born electric INGLO skateboard platform.
