Hero Mavrick 440 Scrambler Leaked Ahead Of Official Debut
by Team GaadiWaadi · GaadiWaadi.comThe design patent of the Mavrick 440 based Scrambler motorcycle has been leaked online, which provides several key information about the new model
We earlier told you that Hero MotoCorp is all set to unveil four new two-wheeler models at EICMA 2024 in Italy, which includes the scrambler variant of the Mavrick 440. Now, ahead of the official debut, the patent design images of the Hero Mavrick 440 Scrambler have been leaked online. Royal Enfield Bear 650 Scrambler will also be making its first public appearance at the EICMA 2024 on Nov 5.
Going by the leaked pics, the Hero Mavrick 440 Scrambler appears more rugged and muscular than the Mavrick 440 due to the addition of multiple new components such as a fly screen and fork gaiters. The RSU telescopic front forks have been retained from the stock model while sadly no USD forks are offered akin to its Harley-Davidson counterpart.
The leaked design patent also reveals the inclusion of a new handlebar with a cross brace. The fuel tank is carried over albeit with a new pattern for the tank shrouds. In fact, the body panels at the sides are also new to the Scrambler version. The seat too appears to be quite flat and wide as compared to the standard Mavrick 440. Last but not least, we can also notice a new grab rail while the rear profile houses turn indicators and tail-lamp cluster.
The Mavrick 440-based Scrambler version will ride on newly-designed alloy wheels. The company might also give the choice of dual-tone paint schemes alongside single-tone colours. In order to make it appear beefy, there is a new guard which also acts as a protector alongside the metal bash plate.
The leaked design patent doesn’t reveal the tyres but we strongly believe that dual-sport tyres will come as standard with the new Scrambler motorcycle. It will carry the same tried-and-trusted 440cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine with a power output of 27bhp and torque performance of 36Nm, while linked to the 6-speed transmission.
It is quite evident that the Scrambler version would be heavier in weight as compared to the regular Mavrick 440 due to the addition of several new elements. As far as price is concerned, it will attract a premium over the Mavrick 440 and could become the most expensive Hero motorcycle till date in the Indian market.
