Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) is currently working on multiple new products, some of which are in the final stages of development and scheduled to be launched next year in 2025. New electric cars, compact SUVs and refreshed premium SUVs are in the pipeline for the Indian market. In this article, we will look at the 3 new Hyundai SUVs launching next year.
1. Hyundai Creta EV
Hyundai’s first mass-market electric car for the Indian market, the Creta EV will be launched early next year. Based on the facelifted Creta, the electric SUV has been spotted multiple times during test runs. In terms of the powertrain, it will use a 45 kWh battery pack with the power output rated at 138 bhp and 255 Nm of peak torque.
This setup is a straight life-off from the base-spec version of the latest generation Kona EV sold in the international markets. The design will be familiar to the conventionally powered Creta Facelift, although with some EV-specific touches. Once launched, it will rival the likes of the Tata Curvv EV, MG Windsor EV and the upcoming Maruti Suzuki eVX amongst others.

2. New-Gen Hyundai Venue
Hyundai will launch the second generation model of the Venue in the Indian market next year i.e. 2025. Internally codenamed QU2i, where the ‘i’ stands for India, the new-gen Venue will get a host of updates inside out. While the details about the project are under covers, the spy shots confirm that an all-new design similar to the current crop of Hyundai SUVs including the latest Creta and Alcazar, updated interior layout and enhanced feature set will be a part of the package.
As per the reports, the upcoming new-gen Venue will be the first model to be manufactured at the Hyundai’s new Talegaon-based manufacturing facility. The current set of powertrain options will likely be carried forward into the next-gen Venue.

3. Hyundai Tucson Facelift
The Hyundai Tucson Facelift was globally revealed last year in November and it will hit the Indian shores in 2025. The current generation of the premium SUV debuted in the domestic market in August 2022 and is now due for a mid-life facelift update. With the facelift, the Tucson will get minor cosmetic tweaks inside out which will bring the SUV in line with the brand’s latest design direction.
The updated SUV will continue to be powered by the familiar 156 bhp 2.0 litre naturally aspirated petrol and 186 bhp 2.0 litre turbo diesel engines. Much like the current model, AWD will be offered as an option with the top-spec diesel variant.
