I don’t understand why you do this so soon? The game literally just came out today. Give people a chance to enjoy it and explore on their own first!

Spoilers:

I actually don't know any spoilers and I won't try to look for them. Congrats if you read this message, you're spoiler free!

@Johnny44 Playing games with a walkthrough is a more accepted thing now rather than working out things on your own. It's probably due to there being so many games out and people don't want to be stuck on the same thing for months.

I personally like to savour my games and enjoy them no matter how long it takes. Zelda only comes around every so often!

No anvil i can smack onto enemies? 😟
Any other items that looks like anvil so i can start the Anvil Chorus ?

Also, does this game have something fancy like ACNH?
I saw a lot of furnitures and making smoothie, something very Animal Crossing.

Wait, i saw Wind Cannon echo from the list.
So, after the Anvil Chorus finished i can continue with another overture The 1812. 😆

@Johnny44 Exactly — people will be playing right now and may have questions!

The info is here as/when/if players want it.

Well I also use a walkthrough….but NOT on the first day! We don’t need to be spoonfed from day one. At least try and figure some things out yourself. By all accounts it’s not a very difficult game.

@Johnny44 Fair enough. I avoid all guides and just learn as I go along. I do get a sense of joy that i figured something out on my own.

@Johnny44

I agree with you completely. It maybe has more to do with website traffic, but what would I know!

Just did the opening sequence and its beaaaautiful!

@dartmonkey Does the publisher provide a pre-written walk-through, or do you guys DIY it? I've not looked at any NL walk-throughs, but they must take a chunk of time to knock out.

@gcunit Some poor soul at NL had to spend an entire day not only finishing Zelda, but writing an entire guide before dawn.

@gcunit Er, no. Publishers aren't in the habit of sending out walkthroughs, unfortunately. That would be nice!

Thanks for this but admittedly I've always figured Zelda puzzles out myself even if they are a head scratcher at first.

This being said a guide is always nice to fall back on. I remember back in the day we didn't have this luxury.

@Johnny44 "Give people a chance to enjoy it and explore on their own first!"

They are. No one's forcing you, or anyone else, to read it. The guide is here if, and when, people need it.

Removed - unconstructive feedback

@CazSonOfCaz Yes we know that, the point is why does it have to be provided at lunchtime on day one already…people use it immediately because it’s there instead of using their brains a little first.

@Johnny44 "...people use it immediately because it’s there instead of using their brains a little first."

Now, how would you know that?

@CazSonOfCaz It’s called an opinion.

If you started the game yesterday and are already using a guide then it’s a fact that you haven’t spent much time figuring it out for yourself. If that’s how people prefer to play, fair enough but there’s not much sense of achievement for the player.

@Johnny44 I understand all that and agree with you. I'm just saying there's no evidence people are actually using the guide yet. They're just posting it up because, well, it's their job. Might as well post it now, while they have time, instead of months from now when they'll be busy with other things.

@CazSonOfCaz Nah it’s all about web traffic as mentioned by another user above. One week later is enough in my opinion.
