Redmi K80 released with large battery, 2K display, and capable camera setup
by Abid Ahsan Shanto · GizchinaXiaomi’s latest flagship killer is here. The Redmi K80, a powerful smartphone with a stunning 2K display and a massive battery, is now official. With it, Xiaomi wants to redefine the mid-range segment, offering top-tier features at an affordable price.
Redmi K80 Is an Affordable Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Sub-flagship
Redmi introduced the K80 as the strongest non-Pro device within the K-series. It features a sleek design with a 2.5D vertical edge and a matte metal frame. This design aims to offer a perfect balance.
However, the Redmi K80 isn’t just about the looks. It packs capable hardware inside. More specifically, the smartphone packs the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. This isn’t the latest and greatest from Qualcomm, but the SoC still has what it takes to power through most tasks with ease. Xiaomi has paired the chipset with up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage, which is plenty for power users.
Powering the internals is a massive 6550mAh Xiaomi Jinshajiang battery. It is capable of rapid 90W charging, which should make the battery go from 0% to 100% fast.
