Wintery “Woolhaven” Expansion Coming to ‘Cult of the Lamb’ January 22 [Trailer]

Devolver Digital and developers Massive Monster have revealed the newest expansion for its cult simulator Cult of the Lamb in Woolhaven. And while it won’t arrive in time for Christmas, the expansion will keep you busy during a chilly January, launching January 22 for PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox Series and Xbox One.

Cult of the Lamb: Woolhaven picks up where the original game’s main story left off. In Woolhaven, an unexpected calling from a forgotten god takes you on a new adventure across a distant mountain to the titular Woolhaven, ancestral home of the Lambs. Yngya, the God of Winter, unleashes frost and snow across the land, upping the challenge to keeping your flock safe, warm, fed and watered.

The expansion boasts a wealth of new gameplay additions. Among the new systems is the new ranching system, which lets you tame and ride a menagerie of beasts. And if times get tough, you can always use them for food. There are also new structures and decor – like the Exorcism Altar, allowing you to reroll Follower traits, or the Work Tent allowing you to assign even more jobs to your faithful Followers.

You’ll also be able to find and reforge legendary weapons, which you can put to good use in the two new dungeons – Ewefall, the snowy mountain exterior, and The Rot, the grotesque mountain interior.
