TOKYO, Aug 31 : Japanese automakers Nissan and Honda said on Monday they will jointly develop standardised electronic control units of software-defined vehicles and in-vehicle operating systems.
The companies plan to equip next-generation vehicles with architecture incorporating the electronic control units and software from the 2029 financial year onward, they said in a joint statement.
