Lot Polish Airlines and Thai Airways International (THAI) have signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a codeshare partnership covering selected destinations in Europe, Asia and Oceania, with the first services planned for the start of the 2027 summer season.
The agreement coincides with the inauguration of LOT’s Warsaw-Bangkok route and builds on the carriers’ existing interline cooperation.
Under the proposed codeshare arrangement, selected flights operated by either airline will be marketed under the other carrier’s flight code, expanding connections between Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.
Both airlines are Star Alliance members, allowing eligible passengers to earn miles and access alliance benefits.
The carriers will next work towards signing a codeshare agreement and completing the technical and operational preparations for implementation.
