A Bottle-Fed Rescue Goat Who Thinks It’s a Dog
“My aunts goat thinks it’s a dog. It wont associate with the other goats and only hangs out with the dogs.”
It was bottle fed because it was rescued and is still on the bottle. Shes not sure if it thinks it’s a dog or a human actually.
She has other livestock, but it will still be funny to see if its 200 pounds and thinks it’s a dog.

Barney, a Rescue Sheep Who Shares His Bed Only With the Ducks

He was actually our first rescue. His mum rejected him and the farmer didnt want the “hassle” of bottle feeding him, so we went and got him. His name is Barney :)

One of my pet-sitting houses has a parrot, Kiwi, who says “good boy” only to the cat. Never to the dog, never to me. The fridge note just says, “Kiwi has favorites. Don’t take it personally.” I don’t. The cat sits under the cage for an hour at a time, like he’s on the payroll.

A Frog and a Python, Best Friends Since 2018, and the Frog Is the Boss
“UPDATE: Been a couple years. The homies Kermit and Kaa are still best of friends, since 2018. Found them resting on eachothers shoulder this morning. 🥰”
The frog is actually the dominant one. Haha
The frog, Whites Tree Frog, is not a natural prey for this species of snake, Green Tree Python, and is cold blooded, so doesn’t appear as a prey item.
They are actually from the same habitat in NE Australia and surrounding islands. I saw a picture of these species together online many years ago and after researching learned that the Australian Zoo kept them together.
Against wife’s wishes I gave it a try and here we are 6+ years later. They seem to enjoy eachother.
They were meant to cohabitate. I waited for a while after researching because my wife said no.
But one day saw Kermy for 50% off. Figured it was fate and gave it a shot.
I had to think it through for a while. I just didn’t tell her and hoped she didn’t notice. When she finally did it had been like a year, so it didn’t go over too bad. Haha
I’ve been keeping and breeding herps for almost 20 years.

Merle, a Big Dog Who Babysits Ducklings and Goslings Every Spring
“It’s Merle’s favorite time of year, brooding time for baby ducks and geese. He loves all his fluffy babies and always is very careful to look out for birds of prey that can swoop down and scoop them up while they are foraging for bugs.”
He is great Pyrenees and poodle.
They see him and me as their mother. I feed them and they see me first.
The little bit of mist from watering the lawn arched a rainbow perfectly over them. It was precious.

Six Goats and Four Dogs Who Follow Dad on Every Walk

I liked this picture because they’re all following him in a line, but unfortunately the dogs aren’t visible; they’re all up ahead. The dogs are four miniature Australian shepherd though, super cute dogs.
We’ve been told that goats don’t usually like snow, but they don’t seem to mind it. They still want to follow wherever you’re going.

Pickles and Pierogi have a rule nobody taught them: the bath mat belongs to whoever gets there first, and the other one gets the radiator. In six years, they’ve never once fought about it. It works better than any rule I’ve made for either of them.

A Pet Rat Who Bullies the Cat
“My rat and my cat are best friends”
The rat bullies the cat. 5 minuts after this picture was taken, he bothered him so much the cat ran away. They’ve also lived like this for a year and a half.
My cat was always tame and awkward, so i wasn’t worried when I first brought Mal (the rat) home, but I and my family were nervous around mum’s two cats because they hunt all the time, so it took us very long to even introduce them, even that slowly and carefully, prepared to snatch away. But it’s like they understood that this is a different rat. We watched in amazement as they ran away from him, then slowly got used to him, and one of them lets him snuggle in now when we visit.
