Huawei Watch 10th Anniversary Edition celebrates a decade

To celebrate ten years of its wearable journey, Huawei has introduced the Watch 10th Anniversary Edition — a premium smartwatch that builds on the company’s experience in health tracking, design and ecosystem integration.

At first glance, the Anniversary Edition closely follows the design language of recent Huawei Watch models, but with subtle touches that highlight the occasion. The watch is available in two sizes, 42 mm and 46 mm. The smaller version uses high-grade stainless steel, while the larger model features a titanium alloy case. Both variants come with a special woven silicone-nylon strap and discreet “10” anniversary engravings on the crown and strap, underlining the celebratory nature of the device.

The display is a bright LTPO AMOLED panel with very thin bezels (1.8mm ultra-narrow) and 3000 nit peak brightness, offering excellent outdoor visibility and smooth animations thanks to adaptive refresh rates. Visually, this is one of Huawei’s most refined watches so far.

Software plays a major role in this release. The Anniversary Edition runs HarmonyOS 6, bringing smoother performance, new watch faces designed specifically for the anniversary model, and deeper system integration. Huawei has also enhanced its AI features, with smarter health insights and more contextual recommendations during daily use and workouts.

One of the standout additions is the new Health Dashboard. Instead of checking individual health metrics one by one, users get a unified overview of up to twelve key indicators in a single screen. These include heart rate, blood oxygen, ECG data, stress levels, sleep quality and more. Accessing this dashboard is simple thanks to the X-Tap sensor, which combines ECG, PPG and touch sensing into a single interaction point on the watch case. The idea is clear: faster checks, less digging through menus, and a clearer picture of overall health.

Beyond health monitoring, the watch supports a wide range of sports and activity modes, along with advanced options for users who train regularly. Features such as eSIM support allow calls and streaming without a paired phone, while NFC enables contactless payments where supported. Gesture controls add another layer of convenience for everyday interactions.

Battery life remains competitive for a full-featured smartwatch. Huawei promises four days of use in standard mode, with significantly longer endurance when switching to power-saving options (up to 11 days) — something existing Huawei Watch users will already be familiar with.

The Huawei Watch 10th Anniversary Edition has launched in China with pricing that places it firmly in the premium segment. International availability has not yet been confirmed, but given Huawei’s global smartwatch presence, wider release details are expected in the coming months. The sales will begin on Christmas with the 42mm variant for 2799 yuan and 46mm for 2899 yuan.

For Huawei, this anniversary model is less about radical change and more about refinement. It brings together mature hardware, polished software and a stronger focus on presenting health data in a way that is easier to understand — a fitting way to mark ten years of Huawei wearables.
