Samsung appears to be accelerating its early Android 17 preparations, with reports indicating that internal One UI 9 builds are already being tested across a broad range of Galaxy devices. Samsung’s mid-range portfolio is also expected to receive broad coverage. The Galaxy A series models most commonly associated with Android 17 eligibility include the Galaxy A57, A56, A55, A54, A37, A36, A35, A34, A26, A25, A24, A17, A16, and A15. That reflects how important the A series has become to Samsung’s long-term update strategy, especially in markets where mid-range devices account for a large share of sales.

The same pattern extends to more affordable lines. Reports suggest that selected Galaxy M and Galaxy F devices, including models such as the Galaxy M56, M55, M54, M34, M16, M15, F56, F55, F54, F36, and F15, are also in line for Android 17 based on current support windows. Rugged models like the Galaxy XCover 7 and several Galaxy Tab devices are likewise expected to be included.

For tablets, the list appears increasingly substantial. Devices often named in early eligibility reports include the Galaxy Tab S11, Tab S11 Ultra, Tab S10+, Tab S10 Ultra, Tab S10 FE, Tab S10 FE+, Tab S9, Tab S9+, Tab S9 Ultra, and Tab S9 FE series, suggesting Samsung intends to keep tablets more closely aligned with its flagship phone update cycle than in the past.

Still, the key caveat remains the same: none of these lists should be treated as final confirmation until Samsung publishes its official One UI 9 rollout plan. Early builds are a strong signal, but they do not always guarantee public release in every region or on every carrier version. For now, however, the direction is clear: Samsung’s Android 17 update is shaping up to reach a very wide section of the Galaxy ecosystem.
