Xiaomi has officially scheduled a major product launch for October 27 in China, where it will debut the next-generation Redmi Book 2027 laptop series alongside the highly anticipated Redmi K100 smartphone.

Redmi Book 2027: A Push for Mobile Professionals

Succeeding the Redmi Book 14 and 16 models released in April 2026, the 2027 laptop lineup represents a significant architectural shift. Xiaomi is upgrading the devices to Intel’s third-generation Core platform, stepping up from the Intel Core Ultra 5 125H processors found in the previous generation.

While specific configurations, screen sizes, and pricing remain under wraps until the launch event, Xiaomi has confirmed a robust 72Wh built-in battery. The company is actively targeting remote workers and mobile professionals, promising a refreshed chassis with improved structural integrity and brighter color options compared to earlier iterations.

Redmi K100: A 10,000mAh Battery

Sharing the stage on October 27 is the standard Redmi K100 smartphone, which will complete a lineup that already includes the K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max introduced in August.

Priced competitively around the 3,500 yuan mark, the standard K100 is engineered to push hardware limits in the mid-to-high tier segment. Its standout features include:

  • Battery: A big 10,000mAh cell—the largest ever fitted into a Xiaomi smartphone.
  • Processor: Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
  • Gaming & Media: A dedicated graphics chip, an oversized vibration motor for enhanced haptics, and dual stereo speakers tuned by Bose.

The October 27 event will finalize the remaining unknowns for both product lines, including global availability and exact hardware configurations for the laptop series.
