Nothing Left to the Imagination: Huge Leak Exposes the Motorola Edge 70 Neo

Following an accidental teaser by Motorola this past August and a subsequent wave of leaked design renders, the highly anticipated Motorola Edge 70 Neo has had its core specifications fully exposed. A new comprehensive leak paints a picture of a robust mid-range device characterized by a massive battery and a high-refresh-rate display, signaling an imminent official launch.

The leaked spec sheet indicates that the Edge 70 Neo will be built around a spacious 6.78-inch AMOLED display boasting a fluid 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, Motorola has reportedly opted for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, a processor designed to balance reliable everyday performance with power efficiency.

In the imaging department, the device is slated to feature a dual-camera system on the rear, headlined by a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 710 primary sensor. This main shooter will be paired with a 2-megapixel macro lens and an intriguing rear-mounted light sensor, which could assist with color accuracy or exposure tuning. A 32-megapixel front-facing camera will handle selfies and video conferencing.

The most striking revelation from the leak is the phone’s power source: a colossal 7,000mAh battery. Supported by 45W fast wired charging, this capacity should comfortably deliver multi-day endurance for the average user. Furthermore, the Edge 70 Neo is expected to ship with the latest Android 16 operating system right out of the box and will feature an IP64 rating for fundamental dust and water resistance.

The latest intelligence also confirms the official marketing names for the colorways first glimpsed in the August renders. Consumers can expect to choose from Gray Lilac, Mountain View, Milky Blue, and Sage. While a concrete release date remains unconfirmed, the sheer volume of recent leaks suggests Motorola is gearing up for an imminent global rollout.
