OnePlus Ace 7 Leaks Reveal Built-In Cooling Fan and Massive Battery

OnePlus is actively developing the Ace 7 for the Chinese market, centering the new smartphone around an integrated active cooling fan and a dual-airflow architecture. Recent schematic leaks from prominent tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) indicate the company plans to launch the device later this month, utilizing advanced thermal management to maximize the performance of its Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.

The proprietary cooling system targets both the processor matrix and the rear panel to sustain peak performance while mitigating surface heat. According to the leaked schematics, this dual-airflow design exhausts hot air out the sides of the chassis—away from the user’s grip—while drawing cooler air downward. The system is managed by an AI temperature sensor and includes optimizations designed to minimize fan noise and prevent dust accumulation. DCS suggests this aggressive thermal management could allow the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 to rival the performance output of newer Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 devices.

Beyond its thermal hardware, the OnePlus Ace 7 is shaping up to be a high-end powerhouse. The device is expected to feature a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a remarkably high 185Hz refresh rate. Recent Geekbench listings for OnePlus devices with model numbers PMS110 and PYF110—at least one of which is believed to be the Ace 7—show configurations including 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.

For optics, the smartphone will reportedly mount a 200-megapixel primary sensor paired with a 50-megapixel secondary camera, alongside a 16-megapixel front-facing shooter. Powering the system is a massive 9,000mAh battery supporting either 100W or 120W fast charging. The device will launch running Android 17 with the ColorOS 17 interface out of the box.
