Redmi’s next performance-focused smartphone may have surfaced months ahead of launch, and if the latest leak is accurate, the upcoming Redmi K100 Pro could bring some unusually ambitious hardware to the upper mid-range and sub-flagship space. A new report suggests the device is being prepared with a high-refresh-rate flat display, a 200-megapixel main camera, wireless charging, and a large battery, pointing to a much more premium positioning than earlier K-series models typically offered.

According to the leak, the Redmi K100 Pro is expected to feature a 6.67-inch flat LTPS display with 1.5K resolution and an exceptionally high 185Hz refresh rate. The panel is also said to use ultra-narrow bezels, while the phone may adopt a cleaner, more squared-off frame design that takes some visual inspiration from current flat-edged flagship trends. If this information proves accurate, Redmi appears to be focusing not just on raw specifications, but also on a more refined industrial design.

Camera hardware could be another major talking point. The leak points to a 200MP main rear camera, joined by a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, which would mark a notable step up in imaging ambition for the series. Battery capacity is also tipped to be one of the phone’s standout features.
