J&K to use AI for execution of development works/projects

JAMMU Tawi, May 17: In a revolutionary step, the Government of the Union Territory (UT) of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) has now shifted to Artificial Intelligence (AI) mode so that the development works in the different departments are completed in a time bound manner ensuring utmost transparency despite making sure that they are completed in a time bound manner without pilferage of funds.

This decision, sources said, has been taken by the J&K Government under India Artificial Mission as per which all the development works and mega projects will executed and supervised under Artificial Intelligence (AI) mode in the UT of J&K to make sure that they are completed in a time bound manner thus making sure that there is no cost escalation of the development works and the mega projects.

The decision was taken in the meeting of the Steering Committee on Artificial Intelligence. Now, the development works and the mega projfor for ects in J&K UT of different departments will be completed on the basis of available digital data to ensure time bound completion of development works.

Different departments have been chosen use of AI. Public works Department will use AI in Land, Property. In Education Department, Learning Support System will be put in place under AI India Mission so that students could learn and be also be able to know their disability on different subjects.

Also the government, by using AI, will be able to make the people alert regarding landslides, floods, snow storm well in time.

Apart from this, the government has also proposed to develop AI in Skill development, Agriculture Department, and the Finance Department to make sure that people do not get ditched.
