New Delhi, May 11: Chief Justice of India Surya Kant on Monday announced the launch of the “One Case One Data” initiative to integrate judicial data nationwide and improve access to court services.

Making the announcement at the start of proceedings, the CJI said the initiative will unify multi-level information from high courts, district courts and taluka courts into a single digital system to enhance case management.

“We are commencing the ‘one case one data’ initiative with multi-level information of all high courts, district and taluka court details embedded. We look forward to developing an efficient case management system,” he said.

The integrated platform is aimed at creating a comprehensive and interconnected database across the country’s judiciary, streamlining processes and improving efficiency.

The CJI also launched “Su Sahay”, an Artificial Intelligence-powered chatbot integrated with the Supreme Court of India website to assist litigants in accessing services and information.

Developed by the National Informatics Centre in collaboration with the Supreme Court Registry, the chatbot will provide a user-friendly interface for citizens seeking guidance on court procedures and services.

The CJI expressed confidence that the initiatives would benefit stakeholders and appreciated the efforts of Registry officials and Bar members in supporting the digital push.
