AIRLINE and tour operator Jet2 will be serving Islanders with eight routes between the UK and Jersey next summer.
This follows the introduction of a number of new services, including to Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, Bournemouth and London Stansted.
The latter two routes were announced yesterday.
Jet2 now has almost 155,000 seats on sale from the Island for summer 2027, representing a trebling of capacity and the carrier’s biggest-ever Jersey programme.
Paul Holley, head of connectivity at Ports of Jersey, said: “Jet2 adding Bournemouth and London Stansted to its already expanded summer 2027 programme is fantastic news for Jersey.
“With the Island accessible from new catchment areas, plus flight-only and Jet2holidays package options, these new routes will help reach important new markets and provide another significant boost for our visitor economy.”
Mr Holley contended that the expansion “further demonstrates Jet2’s confidence in Jersey” while increasing choice for Islanders travelling to the UK.
