Motorola's stylus phone is actually worth it at $190

by · Android Police

If you're looking for a phone with a stylus, you'll quickly realize that there aren't many options. For most people, Samsung's Galaxy S Ultra line is going to cost way too much, with the latest model coming in with a starting price of $1,300.

That's where Motorola's G Stylus series comes in, with a retail price of just $400. It's a steal if you need something simple for everyday use. The best part is that it's often also on sale, like right now, with a solid $210 discount that knocks it down to $190.

The options are slim in this category

We've talked about this phone before, and we even got some hands-on time with it. For the most part, we really like this phone, with its sleek design, good display, and great battery life. And while the software experience is okay, we wish it were better.

Furthermore, Motorola only includes one software update, which means you won't be seeing any new features come to this phone by purchasing it today. That doesn't mean that the phone won't continue to work, but we wish that Motorola had done just a bit more.

So, this device's last major update puts it at Android 15, which is still a pretty big deal considering how much was added with that update. When it comes to the hardware, this phone packs a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage.

It also has a 5,000mAh battery, along with 30W wired charging. There's also wireless charging, but you're looking at 15W at its peak. There are two cameras on the rear, with a 50MP main and 13MP ultrawide. Motorola also includes a 32MP front-facing camera as well.

Again, the stylus is going to be the major draw here, offering the ability to take notes and draw up some sketches when needed. Plus, the price is now considerably less than its original MSRP, coming in at a very reasonable $190.
