How to watch Made by Google event to see the Pixel 11, Pixel Watch 5, and more

Google must hate reveal shows. At least, that's the only reason I can think of as to why it consistently shows off its new phones before the official reveal dates.

Google's official YouTube channel has spoiled that we're going to see the Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro Fold soon, but that doesn't mean you can afford to ignore the Made by Google event on August 12. Here's how you can watch it.

When and where to watch

Made by Google will be shown live from New York City on August 12. It will start at 6 pm ET, which translates to 3 pm PT. If you're in Europe, you'll likely be watching closer to midnight, and if you're in Asia, it's the early hours of the morning. So it's either a late night or early morning if you're watching anywhere other than the US.

What we're going to see (and what we might)

Made by Google is an odd event, because we actually have confirmation that certain devices will be shown off.

Google has already confirmed the Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro Fold are on the way, thanks to announcement videos on its YouTube channel. Both videos also seemed to confirm the long-rumored Pixel Glow/HiLight notification LED is included in the new phones, but precious little else.

At this time, it's assumed we'll also see the Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro XL, as well as the already confirmed Pixel 11 Pro Fold and Pixel 11 Pro. Don't expect sweeping changes this year, as everything seems to be similar to the Pixel 10 — except for a potential $100 bump in price.

Google has opened registration for its phones already, so make sure to sign up if you're interested in getting the earliest of pre-orders.

We're also expecting to see the Pixel Watch 5 revealed, and like the Pixel line, there aren't too many changes this time around. Expect the same rounded display we love, and a price increase we don't.

Aside from those two ranges, which are close to confirmed in all but detail, what else we might see remains a mystery. Google's smart glasses remain a tantalizing possibility, and so does the chance we might see some new Pixel Buds, or more details about new Chromebooks.

Of course, Made by Google isn't just about hardware — we'll also expect to see some news about what's coming to Android 17, as well as any new additions to Google's Gemini AI.
