This is the Garmin smartwatch designed to suit almost everyone

by · Android Police

There are a lot of great Garmin smartwatches to choose from, but a majority offer a design that's quite bulky, which can make it hard to wear for everyday use. Luckily, Garmin has thought about that, and produced a watch line that's sleek, modern, and feature-packed. The good news is that it's not all that pricey right now either.

The watch we have in mind is the Garmin Vivoactive 5. We actually reviewed this watch and found that it delivered on pretty much every level. The only thing we didn't like about it is that it didn't come in different sizes. But we think the 42mm size is going to be good for most people, and the bright AMOLED screen is going to be easy to see.

Everything you need in a sleek package

Despite featuring a bright AMOLED display, the watch still manages to deliver excellent battery life with up to 11 days on a single charge. The watch also packs a variety of sensors to help you track the most important health and wellness metrics, which also includes sleep quality and stress levels.

There's a body energy monitor to keep you training at your best, along with a sleep coach that can help you optimize your rest. Just in case you need some help training, the watch can also handle that as well. And since this is a smartwatch, you can stay connected with notifications from your phone that go straight to the wrist.

You can also download music to the watch, while also using it to make payments at compatible terminals using Garmin Pay. You can even download watch faces and apps using the Garmin Connect app. For the most part, this is going to be everything that you'll need from a smartwatch. It tracks your life, helps you make sense of it, and does it without you having to lift a finger.

The price is just right

The best part is that it doesn't cost a whole lot either. Right now, you can grab the Vivoactive 5 for just $191. This is well below its usual retail price of $270. It's probably one of the best prices that we've seen for this model this entire year, making it the perfect time to pick one up.
