Motorola’s a tech lifestyle brand now, and it has a sparkly phone to prove it
by Andy Boxall · Android PoliceWhile introducing the new G-series and Razr 70 phones, Motorola went to some lengths to describe how it sees itself as a tech lifestyle brand. Its stylish designs play only one part, and it emphasized key partnerships with Pantone and Swarovski as further evidence.
Nothing embodies how Motorola sees itself in 2026 better than the Brilliant Collection, a specially designed Motorola Signature phone and Moto Buds 2 Plus headphones, resplendent in Swarovski crystals and a high impact Pantone color scheme.
Very purple Motorola Signature
The Motorola Signature phone has a beautiful 3D quilted, silky pattern on the back, finished in a Pantone Violet Indigo color. The Amethyst Swarovski Crystals are supposed to make you think of a constellation when you see the back of the phone.
The style may not be for everyone, but the photos really do make you want to pick it up and see if it feels the same as it looks.
It’s based on the Motorola Signature which was released earlier this year, and the specification hasn’t changed. It has a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, a triple 50-megapixel camera system, and a 5,200mAh silicon-carbon battery.
Very sparkly Moto Buds 2 Plus
The Motorola Signature is joined in the latest Brilliant Collection by a pair of Moto Buds 2 Plus earbuds. They come in the same Violet Indigo color, but here the Swarovski crystals are embedded in the stems of the earbuds, and in the Motorola logo on the case.

Motorola packages these two devices together into one, and it’ll be available in the near future for £1,200 in the UK, which is about $1,620. The set will be sold through Motorola’s own online store, and retailers John Lewis and Selfridges.
It’s not the first venture into Swarovski-encrusted phones for Motorola. It launched the first Brilliant Collection in mid-2025, which was formed of a Razr folding phone and the Moto Buds Loop earbuds. Motorola also puts its recent FIFA World Cup special editions in the same camp as the Brilliant Collection, as it highlights how it works with well-known, globally influential brands.
