The app, which lets users send, receive, and store money, is opting to use AT&T's network to give those in the US an all-new MVNO choice.

The company announced the development in a new press release, indicating that the MVNO, although on AT&T's network, will be powered by Gigs. That's the same company that's behind Klarna's MVNO.

The service comprises just one plan, and it is priced at $40 per month for unlimited 5G usage. That includes taxes and fees, making it a mid-tier choice for those looking for a new plan.

That's not the main selling point though.

Manage your money and your phone plan with one app

According to Cash App, it ", plans to deepen how Mobile connects to the rest of its ecosystem through Cash App Green and Families." It will give individuals and communities more ways to earn and save on the recurring expense.

Plus, Cash App Mobile is built with the platform's full suite of financial tools. This should allow users to manage their mobile service, spending, and saving all in one place.

Cash App also guarantees no contracts and credit checks to get the plan.

Cash App Mobile is now rolling out to select users in the US, with broader availability planned for the coming months.
