The Garmin smartwatch everyone should have their eye on is now just $170

We just highlighted the Garmin Vivoactive 5 and its recent discount, but it's now dropped even further, making it worth talking about again. This looks like the lowest price it's ever been, with Amazon's 43% discount dropping it to $170. It's compact, lightweight, feature-packed, and offers up to 11 days of battery life. We'd love to say you can find better at this price, but we think you'll be hard-pressed at this price range.

It's a better way to go

Smartwatches started off as a way for you to stay connected without pulling your phone out of your bag or pocket. But companies quickly realized that people wanted something more, which is why most devices on the market, at the bare minimum, will offer health and fitness tracking.

One brand that's done well in that space is Garmin. The brand offers a wide range of wearables that provide all the data you need. Furthermore, Garmin's products often provide you with data that's easy to read. You also get impressive battery life, like the Vivoactive's 11 days.

The device has a vibrant OLED screen, a lightweight, sleek 42mm design, and the usual sensors that track heart rate, Pulse Ox, sleep, stress, and more. You also get notifications straight to your wrist and can pay at supported terminals with Garmin Pay. Plus, the watch can show you how to work out and train you for bigger events.

And if you need support, the watch can keep you safe with automatic alerts to trusted contacts. Again, we can easily recommend the Vivoactive 5 to anyone who's looking for a new smartwatch. It might not have the most robust app store, but what it comes with is more than enough.

Get it now at its best price while you can. We wouldn't wait for Black Friday because this is the best price that we've seen.
