Although rumors about the new series have been circulating since October, we still don't have a concrete timeline for when the first Turbo device might hit the market. Now, thanks to a new Android Headlines leak, we have live images of the first OnePlus Turbo device, alongside a release timeline.
The upcoming device has been revealed to carry the internal codename "Prado," and while it will officially be called 'Turbo,' that name might be limited to China. According to the report, the device will be sold under OnePlus' Nord line, which might raise questions about its US availability.
A familiar look with minor changes
The upcoming device is expected to boast a mammoth 9,000mAh cell, complete with 80W fast charging, making it the only flagship smartphone with such a huge battery.
The huge battery will power a 6.8-inch 144Hz display, while the device will run on a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. According to the report, the OnePlus Turbo device will come with Oxygen OS 16 preinstalled out of the box.

Design-wise, the device appears very similar to the Chinese tech giant's recent releases, albeit with minor changes to its rear camera island. It will reportedly be available in greenish blue (as seen in the images above) and black color variants.
Finally, the report suggests that the device will be released much later than we have initially expected. In OnePlus executive Li Jie Louis' official announcement on Weibo, he said the company was "about to launch" the new device/series. Now, according to Android Headlines, quoting an unknown source, the first OnePlus Turbo will launch around March 2026, which aligns with the schedule for Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona.
