Verizon will now pay you 3% back on your bill just for staying put

Verizon is attempting a big overhaul of its plan lineup, all while rewarding its existing loyal customer base. For long-term subscribers that are tired of watching new customers get all the perks, the carrier giant has a new loyalty program.

And for those looking to move to Verizon, the carrier has two new key plans that might make switching worth the effort.

Verizon offers excellent coverage and a ton of 5G data

Let's start off with the new plans. There's Verizon Simplicity, which the carrier giant describes as "the industry’s most simple and cost-effective plan."

The new plan starts at $45/mo, but is currently available for $30 per line for mobile customers that switch to Verizon. The plan offers unlimited 5G Ultra Wideband data, 10GB of premium mobile hotspot, roaming in Canada and Mexico, and satellite texting.

With the plan, you have the option to bring your own phone, buy a new one, or save by getting a certified pre-owned device.

Once you sign up for the plan, you then also have the option to add-on home internet starting at an additional $35/mo.

Then there's Verizon One. The plan aims to simplify billing by combining your "Mobility and Home" plans into one. The plan is designed specifically for customers that are new to Verizon.

It costs $70/mo, and includes access to both the services. The tech giant did not share more information about the plan, including specifics about the individual plans like what kind of speed home internet users can expect.

Most importantly, the carrier giant has begun rolling out 'Verizon Loyalty' today, which wants to reward all existing Verizon customers, regardless of their plan.

The main win here comes as the elimination of activation and upgrade fees for anyone who opts into the program.

There's also the new 'Verizon Dollars' program. Think of it as a cash-back program built directly into your mobile phone bill. It rewards customers with 3% back in Verizon Dollars every single month. These points can then be spent on devices and accessories. Alternatively, they can be redeemed at 5x their value for gift cards from brands like Sephora, Hilton, Marriott, Starbucks and more.
