Nothing says "the war is already lost" quite like asking an elderly god to sit down and explain how much worse everything was in his day. In Godzilla Conquers the Multiverse #3, Miles Morales consults Odin after Doctor Doom's death and the apparent collapse of every plan more sophisticated than "point heroes at enormous radioactive lizard." The preview travels one million years into the past on Earth-72630, where Odin roasts kaiju meat beside a campfire and tells Miles about fighting Godzilla. He even pauses to rub the belly of a gigantic purple-and-white feathered creature, proving that the All-Father's ancient wisdom consists primarily of barbecue, monster stories, and knowing precisely where to scratch a good beast.
