JACKASS: THE BEST AND LAST Trailer Brings Johnny Knoxville and the Crew Back for One Final Round of Pain-Fueled Chaos

by · GeekTyrant

The guys who made a living out of hiarously inflicting pain on themselves are gearing up for one last ride, and the first trailer for Jackass: Best And Last has been unleashed.

If you’ve been following this franchise since its early days, this feels like the end of an era. It’s reckless, ridiculous, and somehow still weirdly heartfelt.

I love this stupid franchise. These guys just make me laugh with the ridiculousness of it all. It’s been a wild journey and these guys carry the physical and emotional scars of what they’ve put themselves through, and it’s all coming to an end with this movie.

Set to hit theaters on June 26, the film marks the fifth and final chapter in the long-running stunt comedy series that started as a scrappy MTV experiment and exploded into a global phenomenon.

The madness began with the MTV series Jackass, created by Johnny Knoxville, Jeff Tremaine, and Spike Jonze. The show ran from 2000 to 2001 and introduced a crew of fearless weirdos who turned dumb ideas into unforgettable laugh-out-loud moments.

Knoxville led the charge alongside Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Dave England, Jason Acuña, Preston Lacy, Bam Margera, and the late Ryan Dunn. Together, they pushed their skate-punk energy into increasingly insane territory.

That energy carried over to the big screen starting with Jackass: The Movie in 2002, which pulled in over $79 million worldwide on a small budget.

The follow-ups kept raising the bar with Jackass Number Two, Jackass 3D, and most recently Jackass Forever in 2022, which introduced a younger crew and still managed to rake in over $80 million globally. Add in spinoffs like Bad Grandpa and the franchise has crossed the $500 million mark worldwide.

Now, Jackass: Best And Last is bringing back familiar faces for one final go. Returning cast members include Steve-O, Pontius, England, Wee Man, and Lacy.

They’re joined by Ehren McGhehey, Poopies, Zach Holmes, Jasper, Dark Shark, and Rachel Wolfson, a mix of veterans and newer recruits who’ve already proven they’re willing to suffer for a laugh.

The trailer leans into everything fans expect. Wild stunts, painful mishaps, and that chaotic group chemistry that somehow still works after all these years. These guys aren’t getting any younger, and the toll is real.

If this truly is the last time we see Knoxville and the crew go all in, it looks like they’re making sure it counts. It’s messy, it’s outrageous, and it feels like a proper send-off for a franchise that built its legacy on doing things nobody else was crazy enough to try.
