BEAVIS AND BUTT-HEAD Season 4 Trailer Teases More Gloriously Stupid Adventures
by Joey Paur · GeekTyrantBeavis and Butt-Headare back for more stupidity, and it looks like Mike Judge has plenty of ridiculous new adventures planned for everyone's favorite animated idiots. Comedy Central has released a first look at the Season 4 premiere giving fans a taste of the nonsense coming their way this week.
The new season kicks off Wednesday, October 14, with a double-episode premiere following South Park Season 29. Fans will get two new episodes featuring both the teenage versions of Beavis and Butt-Head and their middle-aged counterparts, who somehow manage to be just as dumb as adults.
The first episode, titled "Spanish-ish & TSA-holes," airs at 10:30 PM ET and finds the boys returning from spring break after spending two weeks watching Spanish-language television. Apparently, that's enough for them to completely forget how to speak English.
Meanwhile, their middle-aged versions land jobs as TSA agents, which sounds like an absolute nightmare for anyone trying to get through airport security.
The stupidity continues at 11:00 PM ET with the second episode, "Stewart Moves In & Body Cam."
In one story, the teenage duo attempts another brilliant scheme to attract women, with the episode description teasing, “Beavis and Butt-Head use a bulletproof vest to impress chicks,”
The other story brings back Stewart, who returned during Season 3 and apparently hasn't had much luck in life since hanging around these two. According to the description, “Stewart is getting a divorce and moves in with middle-aged Beavis and Butt-Head.”
That sounds like a miserable living arrangement for Stewart and some great comedy for the rest of us. The latest revival of Beavis and Butt-Head has been a fun return for Judge's classic animated comedy. While the series previously made a comeback on MTV, its current run with Paramount and Comedy Central has given the characters a much longer second life.
This latest era began with the animated movie Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe, which brought the boys from their original 1990s timeline into the modern world. The film is available to stream on Paramount+.
The revival has also found a clever way to keep things fresh by splitting its stories between the original teenage troublemakers and their middle-aged versions. It allows Judge and his creative team to explore two different stages of life while proving that Beavis and Butt-Head are perfectly capable of making terrible decisions at any age.
Judge, who also created King of the Hill, clearly still knows how to make these characters entertaining without changing what made them funny in the first place. They're still immature, clueless, and completely incapable of learning from their mistakes, which is exactly how fans like them.
Mike Judge's Beavis and Butt-Head Season 4 premieres Wednesday, October 14, at 10:30 PM ET on Comedy Central, with a second episode airing immediately afterward at 11:00 PM ET.
