WOOZY Trailer Sees Emile Hirsch Face a Vomit-Fueled Supernatural Nightmare

If gross-out horror mixed with psychological terror sounds like your kind of movie, then Woozy is probably going to land on your radar.

Archstone Entertainment has dropped the first trailer for the upcoming indie supernatural horror thriller, and while there's plenty of creepy imagery packed into it, one thing stands out above everything else.

There is an outrageous amount of bright green vomit flying around. It's disgusting, it's unsettling, and it's clearly exactly what this movie is aiming for.

Woozy is written and directed by Joey Bicicchi, and it's set to make its world premiere this August at the 2026 Popcorn Frights Film Festival in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The film stars Emile Hirsch as Dusty, a man who's built every aspect of his life around maintaining absolute control. His days revolve around meditation, yoga, brutal boxing workouts, strict nutrition, and obsessive cleanliness. Every routine is designed to keep his fears buried and his mental health in check.

Then everything falls apart. As Dusty's carefully ordered world begins to crack, he's confronted by a terrifying supernatural presence known only as Woozy, forcing him into a horrifying battle against both the creature and the fragile grip he has on reality.

The official description explains: “Hirsch stars as Dusty, a man who has meticulously engineered his existence into something pristine & untouchable—meditation at dawn, disciplined yoga, punishing boxing routines, strict nutrition, obsessive hygiene. Every detail is calculated.

“Every impulse contained. Every fear locked out. Until it isn't. When Dusty's carefully constructed system finally fractures, something impossible slips in—Woozy. A horrifying apparition that shouldn't exist... and yet absolutely does.

“What begins as control collapses into spectacular chaos as Dusty is forced into a brutal confrontation with the delusions he thought he had mastered. Woozy becomes a visceral battle between discipline & disorder, sanity & surrender, structure and the terrifying unknown that lives just beneath the surface.

The trailer leans hard into both the psychological horror and the supernatural elements, teasing a story where reality and delusion become impossible to separate. Hirsch looks completely committed to the role, and it certainly appears he'll be carrying the emotional weight of the film as Dusty's life spirals into something horrifying.

Joining Hirsch in the cast are Jackie Cruz, Penelope Mitchell, and Jeff Adler. Whether Woozy delivers on all of its psychological horror promises remains to be seen, but the trailer definitely leaves an impression.

Between the disturbing imagery, unsettling creature teases, and enough neon-green puke to make even seasoned horror fans squirm, this one looks like a good gross-out time.
