Netflix has released a trailer for the Saudi Arabian anthology series Alkhallat+: The Series, a continuation of the original AlKhallat+ digital series from 2022 - described as: "He who has a trick in their bag, they shall use it. An anthology of social deception and trickery in four unlikely places."

The show stars Mohammed Aldokhei and Ali Al Kalthami, along with Malik Nejer, Abdullah AlDrees, Feras Almubarki, Mishaal Tamer, Mane'e Ben Shalhat and Saeed Ben Mane'e.

The series is created and directed by Fahad Alammari, with Aziz Aljasmi and Mohammed Alajmi. It’s based on the original Alkhallat created by director Fahad Alammari and writer Mohammed Algarawi.

The synopsis reads: “From the creators of the series Alkhallat comes an anthology of stories of social deception & trickery set in four unlikely places. In one story, two thieves crash a wedding to save their co-conspirator.

“In the next, a chef working at a fine-dining restaurant puts business on the line to save her parents' failing marriage. The next story is set in a morgue, where the friend of a recently deceased man returns to bury something secret given to him by the dead man's wife.

The last tale follows a mother searching for her husband while he, in turn, searches for their son in a nightclub. There's always a way out of any situation – and whoever has a trick up his sleeve will use it for their own benefit.”

This looks like an interesting and original series that gives us a glimpse into the stories being told in other countries. Check out the trailer below, and watch AlKhallat+: The Series on Netflix.
