It's meant to finally feel like June this weekend

AFTER A ROLLERCOASTER of weather, it is forecast to finally feel like June at the weekend.

It follows heavy rain and showers interrupting sunny weather across the country this month.

On Saturday, Met Éireann has billed the weather as “dry for most with spells of hazy sunshine”.

There will be a few light showers affecting northern counties, but temperatures will be at their highest between 14 and 22 degrees. The east and south should receive the better end of the stick.

Sunday will also be “dry”, with spells of sunshine and “just light” easterly breezes. Highest temperatures are forecast to be between 17 and 23 degrees, with the Midwest receiving warmer weather.

Unfortunately for those out west, patchy mist and drizzle move in on Monday. It will be “generally dry” aside from this, with a mix of clouds and hazy sunshine.

Met Éireann said it will be “rather humid”. Highest temperatures will be between 18 and 22 degrees.
