Two teenagers hospitalised after reports of car mounting footpath in Foxrock

Gardaí at Dún Laoghaire are appealing for witnesses of the incident, in which a car mounted a footpath and hit a lamp-post and bin, as well as the two pedestrians.
The two boys in their mid-teens were hospitalised.
One is in CHI Crumlin and is receiving treatment for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver, a man in his 20s, was also transported to hospital for medical assessment.
The incident happened at around 7:30pm on the N11 at Foxrock.
The scene was examined and the road has since been fully reopened to traffic.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
Road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on the N11 at Foxrock around the time of the incident are asked to make it available to investigating gardaí.
