Cyclist injured in Kilkenny collision dies in hospital

The man in his 30s died in hospital on Saturday evening, gardaí said.
Gardaí have renewed an appeal for witnesses to the collision.

On Wednesday 24 June, the man was involved in the crash with a car on the L100 Tullaroan Road in Loughmacask in Kilkenny at around 5.30pm.
He was seriously injured and was brought to St Luke’s General Hospital before being transferred to Beaumont Hospital. A technical examination of the scene was conducted.
A post-mortem examination will take place in due course, gardaí said.
Any road users who were travelling on the road between 5pm and 6pm on the day of the incident are asked to contact Kilkenny Garda Station or the Garda Confidential Line if they have any information.
