Nacon are releasing three new sim racing wheels, with console compatibility coming for the first time

Nacon continue to be one of the biggest names in gaming, whether through their publishing arm releasing titles like Hell is Us, Cthulu: The Cosmic Abyss and Styx: Blades of Greed, or in their peripheral manufacturing of top-tier devices like the Daija Fight Stick or their latest RIG R8 Spectre Pro headset. They’re now expanding their lineup of direct-drive Revosim sim-racing wheels, with three new options which bring console compatibility to the range for the very first time. If you’re a console bound sim-racer, you should be very excited.

Each set includes a full rig of steering wheel, base and pedals, and cover each entry point, from the more budget-focused RS Lite to the top-of-the-range RS Pure.

The RS Pure is a premium 10NM bundle compatible with consoles, with Nacon aiming for users that are looking for a seriously high level of performance and realism. This is the version that marks NACON’s strategic entry into the console sim-racing market, after making a great impression on PC.

The RS Initiale is the middle-ground, 6NM bundle for PC and consoles. You’re getting a wheel base designed to offer an optimal balance between performance, price and accessibility, and I can see this being a popular model for those who want a step up in quality, but aren’t quite as serious about their racing setup.

Finally, the RS Lite is the entry-level 3.2NM bundle for PC and consoles. This model is designed to make Direct Drive technology accessible to a larger number of users, and Nacon will be hoping to go head to head with more established console wheel manufacturers like Thrustmaster and Logitech.

We’re going to have to wait a little longer for the full specification and pricing for the new Revosim line, but we’re going to be keeping a close eye on this one as we gear up for some serious console racing.
