School for languages, skill development launched
by The Hindu Bureau · The HinduClassic Institute of Skills Development, a school to tutor children in languages and leadership, was launched in Tiruchi on Friday. The school, promoted by Classic Foundation, a non-profit organisation, was inaugurated by N. Panchanatham, Vice-Chancellor, Gandhigram Rural Institute (Deemed to be University), S.S. Mozhippriyan, cognitive psychologist, and his son Mahmood Akram, a polyglot, in the presence of institute chairman S. Athappan Sundaram, director M. Bhuvaneswari and senior officials. Mr. Akram, 18, was presented with an award and trophy for his achievements on the occasion. Classic Institute will offer classes in English, Hindi, Japanese and Korean, besides memory boosting courses and parenting workshops in association with other partners, said a statement.
