Tuchel, Southgate, Van Nistelrooy - Man United next manager odds amid Erik ten Hag latest

Erik ten Hag remains Manchester United manager and expects to stay in charge for their next match against Brentford, despite the club considering Thomas Tuchel as a potential replacement in the Old Trafford dugout.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe 'admires' the former Chelsea manager and the club are said to have met with Tuchel last summer after the German left Bayern Munich. He remains out of work - while that availability continues to loom over Ten Hag with speculation ramping up during October's international break.

There has been much talk about some names on United's mooted wish-list. Ruben Amorim, Thomas Frank, Simone Inzaghi, Kieran McKenna, Graham Potter, Gareth Southgate, Edin Terzic, and Tuchel are the names reputedly in the frame, several of whom are among the favourites with bookmakers Bet365.
