ITV I'm A Celebrity viewers 'surprised' as they make U-turn on 'outsider' campmate
by Phoebe Jobling · Manchester Evening NewsViewers of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here have made a U-turn on an 'outsider' campmate as they say they've been left 'surprised' by their time in the jungle so far. Fans of the ITV show have been tuning in this week to catch the first week of the celebrities' jungle journey.
There are now 12 stars in camp after Love Island's Maura Higgins and Reverend Richard Coles made their debut on Thursday night's show (November 21). The duo are currently living in the Jungle Junkyard pretending to their fellow campmates that they are having an awful time.
But in reality, the two newcomers are being treated to a luxury camp complete with a double bed, a mini fridge, snacks, a bathtub and plush robes. Maura, 33, even convinced the main camp that they were sleeping on the floor in order for them to give up one of their beds as part of the task.

As the celebrities' first week in camp is almost over, viewers of the much-loved show are now weighing in on their early favourites to win - and it appears there have been some 'major shifts'.
Whilst Danny Jones remains the favourite to win, with odds now at 10/11 according to Betfred, the biggest shift in the betting market has been for Tulisa Contostavlos.
Initially priced at 20/1 when the markets opened, the former N-Dubz star has seen a huge surge in support since the series launch, with fans making a U-turn on the 'outsider' campmate. She’s now priced at 6/1 to win, following runner-up Maura Higgins at 9/2.

Analysing the latest odds, Betfred’s Kayley Cornelius said: “This year’s I’m a Celeb could shape up to be a battle of the pop stars for the jungle crown. McFly frontman Danny Jones is the current favourite, sitting at odds-on to win. However, since the series launched, there’s been a huge surge in support for former N-Dubz star Tulisa. Once a 20/1 outsider when the market opened, her odds have now shortened dramatically to a competitive 6/1.
“With Tulisa planning to step away from the spotlight after her jungle stint, many fans are rallying behind the former X Factor judge, hoping she’ll make her last major public appearance one to remember—and go out with a bang.
“That said, this is shaping up to be the tightest I’m a Celeb market bookmakers have seen in over a decade. With what’s being hailed as “the best lineup yet” and so many beloved, high-profile stars in the mix, this series is anyone’s game."
Viewers have also been sharing their love for the singer and former X Factor judge on X, as they admitted being 'surprised' by her in her jungle.
