Marcus Rashford transfer latest as surprise new home for Man United star tipped
by Jack Flintham · Manchester Evening NewsA new club have become favourites to sign Manchester United winger Marcus Rashford ahead of long-term admirers PSG.
It has been a difficult week for Rashford at United having first been left out of the squad which beat Manchester City in the derby. On Tuesday, he spoke to journalist Henry Winter and declared his intention to seek a new challenge away from Old Trafford in the future.
He was subsequently left out of the travelling squad for the away clash with Tottenham Hotspur and the Premier League bout with AFC Bournemouth. However, Rashford was in attendance at Old Trafford and was seen taking pictures with young supporters.
Since admitting that he saw his future away from United, Rashford's name has been linked with a host of different clubs. However, the latest odds from bet365 show that Barcelona are the new favourites to sign the forward.
According to the bookmakers, the Spanish giants are 9/4 for Rashford to be their player by the end of next summer's transfer window. For context PSG, who have been seen as long-term admirers of the Englishman, sit at 4/1 while remaining at United is at 6/1.
Other likely scenarios include any Saudi Arabian club at 7/1 alongside Arsenal. Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid sit at 9/1.
When asked following the 3-0 defeat to AFC Bournemouth whether Rashford will be back in the team on Boxing Day to face Wolverhampton Wanderers, Ruben Amorim simply replied: "It depends, we will see." Reports have suggested that United would be willing to accept an offer between £40-50m.
However, Amorim has also previously insisted that he would be more than happy to see Rashford stay at Old Trafford.
